ClearyDoyle is progressing towards completion on our €12.5m Cherrywood Business Campus project for Spearstreet Capital.
The brief for this project includes master planning works and the construction of new meeting pods, a sunken garden with a feature canopy, new brise-soleil façade and internal refurbishment works.
This selection of drone images shows the sunken garden and canopy under construction.
Image 1 shows the campus canopy, a design by Benjamin Thomas of MOLA Architecture, which has been fabricated by the Netherlands-based specialist engineering contractor Octatube. The glulam and glass gridshell canopy of approximately 25 by 19 metres covers the sunken garden on the premises of the campus. The gridshell will be double-curved and clad with cold-bent twisted glass. When completed, the canopy will be supported by three v-shaped steel columns.
Image 2 is an aerial photograph of the sunken garden, central island, podium slab, brise- soliel. Key subcontractors on this element are Octatube, Premier Paving, and CME Industrial.
Image 3 shows the podium slab paving, work that is being carried out by Premier Paving.
Image 4 shows the new meeting room pods before circular glazing and steel is erected. Wexford Viking Glass and CME industrial are the key subcontractors on this element.
The full design team on Cherrywood Campus comprises Scollard Doyle, Mola Architecture, BAKKALA, Muir & Associates, Billings Design Associates and Ashview Consultants.
